The Project Scope
Madison came to us needing to update her old Squarespace website and a brand refresh. She was preparing to launch a product for photographers and wanted to take the opportunity to create an online home for that while updating her existing online home. Through her brand strategy, we discovered her ideal clients are busy families, and particularly mothers of all shapes and sizes who have hard time feeling mentally ready to get their pictures taken.
Visual Direction
The main logo has a few typography details to make it feel playful and fun, with the camera shape inspired by the classic hand sign for click-to-shoot camera. We wanted to step away from the standard camera/film icon and focus on something that felt more unique with the hand drawn details. The font feels modern and fresh while also feeling professional and updated. The color palette also reflects the her brand adjectives: fearless, kind, playful, thoughtful.
Brand design
Hand-drawn brand elements that subtly represent a photo frame are each different, representing all the special shapes and sizes of people MTP serves.
No one else out there will have this M or this I - these were customized specifically for MTP. This helps the logo fit well together and adds a high-end feel.
